DankLA was originally created in 2006 by three High School friends who wanted a website that provided users with the locations and reviews of the dankest food options, primarily for those with cases of late-night munchies. After realizing that such sites already existed, the focus of DankLA shifted toward a lifestyle brand that incorporated the pillars of their lives growing up in Los Angeles: music, sports, food, art, fashion, and of course, the finest greenery available. With these key elements, they began the “BluntBlog” in 2009, a mere prequel for the site that was soon to come.
After adding a fourth member in 2010, DankLA was re-introduced to the world as the premier weed lifestyle brand and blog, with a mission to share our lives and all things dank with other like-minded people across the country. As DankLA continues to expand, our motto of “Roll Deep” offers two meanings: our growing crew of followers and supporters and the fact that our blunts stay stuffed to capacity.
It’s with this in mind that DankLA strives to be the premier weed-based lifestyle brand, bringing all things Dank to one place. We’re always looking to collaborate with and cross-promote other like-minded people on their grind all over the country.
