The Bay Area sure knows how to make a foodie like myself feel welcome. Just before the final stretch of the 101 North into San Fran, I stopped by Old Port Lobster Shack in Redwood City to officially mark the beginning of my vacay in the bay. There was really only one thing for me to order once I looked at the menu, “The Maine Lobster Roll”, featuring a small lobster’s worth of freshly picked meat, mayonnaise, green onion, salt and pepper, mixed and heaped on a buttered and lightly-toasted roll. Heavenly.
