Spotted this guy wearing a Chopper Suit on La Brea right as I got off the 10 West freeway. The suit looked like it was made out of aluminum foil the way the sun was hitting it.
It’s been a rough season for Dodgers fans this year. From losing close games, scoring only 1-2 runs/game in the last 2 weeks, bullpen problems, and the damn Padres having 60 wins! Yes, the San Diego Padres, who only had 75 wins at the end of last season! Anyways, I finally attended my first Dodgers game this season since Jaffe and I decided not to renew our season tickets(I am more than happy for not purchasing them again this year). Game was fun but it’s not a good look when the Padres win with a walkoff base hit in the 9th and Torre doesn’t bring Broxton in. SMFH.
After the game as I left my seats, hearing Padres fans yelling “Beat LA”, all I could think about was that the Dodgers have lost their confidence and swagger. I hate to say this but Meek and I came to the conclusion that we NEED Manny back. Not only for his bat in the lineup but to keep players disciplined. Take it for what you want but he has a bigger impact on the team than the casual baseball fan will ever recognize.
Enough of my rant here are a couple pics from the game…
What’s good DankLA, as summer continues to drift along we thought it would be a good idea to hold a contest to see who could stick DankLA stickers in the best or most interesting spot. Maybe you rolled a monumental bunt, or snuck a sticker on to a government vehicle, either way include a DankLA sticker, snap a photo and you can win a free tshirt. If you need stickers to put up so you can compete, or you just want some stickers, shoot us an email at email@example.com.
I haven’t been this hyped for a mixtape in quite a while. Freddie has yet to disappoint me with any of his releases and I don’t expect this to be any different. You can also pre-order the Str8 Killa EP on iTunes for only $8. Considering the amount of free material Freddie has graced us with up to this point it’s a small price to pay to support real rap.

Baseball has been pretty spectacular this season and we still have about 62 games left+postseason. The game has seen a lot of changes in the last decade since the “steroid era” and continues to change; new faces entering, old faces retiring, great pitching(this year of course), and great plays as always. There was a play on opening day this year by Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox that was dubbed “play of the year” on the first day of the season, but I must say this play by Yunel Escobar of the Toronto Blue Jays last night is a pretty close second if not tied with Buehrle’s play. (Sorry for the crappy video, could not find an HQ video)
And of course here is Buehrle’s play for those of you who missed it. (Not my video)
